The causes for dry skin could be due to harsh weather, low temperatures, strong soaps, dehydration, malnutrition, use of certain medication etc where there is depletion in the natural lipid contents from the skin which help skin from becoming dry. Symptoms of dry skin include itching, redness, cracked flaxy skin. This is often a temporary problem and experience during change in the climate but for some this may be throughout their life.

Regular Face Wash Important
Wash your face with soap and clean cool water every three times a day, which will remove the unwanted dryness and the oily nature of the skin and protects it from getting damaged and infected. You can also use very good moisturizer to maintain the softness of the skin, that makes you look clean and neat at every glimpse; and even refreshes by keeping you away from the dust and dirt.
Instead of strong face wash, you can use mild soaps as well, and rub in a circular motion or in egg shape. This will help you get glowing effect to your face, and reduces pimple formation of itching; also, improves your skin complexion. Thus, wash your face as many times you can with mild gentle soap to get healthy facial skin.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera is rich in many medicinal properties like anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti spasmodic, anti microbial properties. Because of its smoothing and moisturizing effect, it helps in relieving the itchy, dryness and burning sensation of the dry skin. As, Aloe Vera gel keeps you away from the dryness that appears on the face and gives more health and provender to the skin, which inturn removes the lines and wrinkles; you can thus, apply Aloe vera gel that can be extracted directly from the plant after removing the outer layer of the leaf.
Apply little quantity of the aloe Vera gel mixed with olive oil and butter, on your face and neck, leave it for few minutes, and wipe off with a neat cloth after washing with water. You can apply this gel for atleast 2-3 times a day which will help in reducing skin allergy and gives healthy and glowing face as well.
Avocado For Facial Treatment
Vegetables like Avacado contains more fatty acids which possess the similar nature of the face masks that can be applied to the face for improving the texture of the skin. This Avocado can be smashed well and make a paste, or you can takeout the avocado juice at home for easy wash.
Apply the Avocado face mask regularly on your face and rinse off your face after sometime with fresh cold or hot water, which will make your skin moist and soft and prevents it from becoming oilier. Apart from this feature, it might give you excellent texture to your facial skin, by removing the darkness of the skin.
Papaya is a rich in vitamin A and Papain, that helps in removing dead skin cells and also breaks down the inactive proteins. Frequent use of papaya will improve its texture by retaining its moisture content as well as smoothness. Therefore, smash papaya pulp, make it into a fine paste, and apply like a face pack all over the face; leave this pack of 15 minutes or till face gets dry and wash with luke warm water. Later, pat the face after wash, but do not rub to get healthy facial skin.
Apply Egg Yolk
Egg yolk contains triglycerides, cholesterol and phospholipids, which helps is making the skin smooth and moist, as it absorbs into the skin. It also contains good amount of essential poly unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) like Omega-3 & Omega-6 which are very essential to maintain the normal growth of cells present in the skin. Apply egg yolk before bath all over the face and keep till it gets dry, wash with good face wash and luke warm water to get glowing face.
Plain Curd Helps
Curd is an excellent skin hydrant and its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti bacterial and anti fungal properties which will help soothe the dry, burning and itchy skin. Lactic acid present in the skin helps in curing the dryness and softens the face by giving glowing effect, and normalize the facial skin. Plain curd can be applied directly or it can be mixed with few drops of honey and a lime; leave it for at least 10 minutes before you wash it off.
Lemon Juice Reveals Complexion
Lemon is a very good medicine that helps in reducing the bleeding that usually occurs due to the cracks and keeps the skin moist and rich in complexion. You can thus, squeeze a lemon in a bowl, add little sugar to it and mix well; apply this mixture to the face, leave it for some time on your face, and later wash with fresh water and wipe it with a clean cloth. Doing this way will help to remove the older cells and give luminescence to the skin as well.
Mixture Of Turmeric Powder And Cream
Turmeric powder is a good antioxidant agent that is used as a well-known skin exfoliates, and removes the dark circles and wrinkles from your face giving good texture to the skin. Hence, mix turmeric powder with honey or cream and apply it on the face thoroughly; leave the mixture on your face until face gets dry, and then wash with cold water, and wipe-off with a clean fresh cotton towel; continue this procedure for a month to get a fair and most glowing skin.
